Chapter 4: Meeting daddy

Xaviers P.O.V

I grabbed her warm soft hand which fit perfectly in mine, and we started walking to the door and out to the hall.  It didn't take long to get to the living room from my room.  It was just down the stairs and to the left off the hallway that led to the kitchen.  I walked her to the doorway and stopped when I felt a tug on my arm.  I looked back to see her staring at something in the room.  I looked to see what it was and noticed my father was sitting with alpha redbark...who looked happier than i'd seen him in years.  When they noticed us standing the my father motioned for us to come in.  

“Its okay.  Nothing bad will happen i promise.” I whispered quietly into her ear and could see her visibly relax.

I tightened my grip on her hand slightly and walked us over to the smooth leather couch opposite my father and Robert (Alpha RedBarck).  

“Ana.” Robert breathed as though relieved to see that it was true, that she was actually here.  

-Ana what a beautiful name don't you think-

-You really are a strange wolf you know that right?-

-Sorry I couldn't stop myself-

Ana scooted closer to me and I could tell she was confused.

“He’s your REAL dad” I whispered to her.

We all just sat there in complete and utter silence until my father finally spoke up “I think it would be best if we left then alone for a little while.” He said to me in a demanding yet calm voice.

Ana gripped my hand tighter. “I don't think that would be for the best.” I said in a monotone voice.

“Let me rephrase that,” he got up walked to the door and opened it. “out.”

I sat there still not moving from my spot.

“NOW.”  He said in his alpha voice which no matter how hard I tried I couldn't resist.  

Reluctantly I got up giving Ana one last sorry look before exiting the room.

Ana’s P.O.V

I sat on the commfy leather couch waiting for the man (suposedly my father) to speack.  

“Wheres your mother?” he asked out of nowhere

“What?”

“Where. Is. Your. Mother.”

“Shes at home I guess.”

“Wheres home?”

“Why would I tell you?  You kidnapped me and are holding me hostage here.”

“Who said we were holding you hostage?”

“Well can I leave on my own free will.”

“Ummm... Not exactly...” he said rubbing the back of his neck.  He looked nothing like me.  He was tall Probably around 6ft 9.  He was obviously strong and had dark black hair.  The only thing that might possibly make us look related would be his eyes.  Unlike my mother's dark muddy brown they were the exact same shade of grey blue as mine.

“So I am a prisoner.”

“Technically you are my daughter.  That is why I said not EXACTLY.  I am alpha of red bark pack and you are my daughter and only child.  You will take over the red bark pack when I am gone.  You are also the mate to that boy.  Xavier is his name.”

-aaahhh what a wonderful name don't you think- my wolf said wistfully

-whatever-

-I know you were thinking the exact same thing-

“ahem” I was dragged out of my conversation.

“Anyway as I was saying before your wolf so rudly interrupted...”

“Wait how do you know about her,” I asked with a sense of urgency.

“Don't worry were all wolves here... Anyway as I was saying Xavier is your mate.  He is the son of the alpha of moon creek pack.  He is also going to take over his fathers pack.  Once you two officially become a mated pair you will bind the pack forever.  Making a bigger and stronger pack then there has been in 50 years.”

“Officially become a mated pair?  What does that mean?”

“Well....UM..Uh..I think that is a question Xavier can answer for you.”

He stood up and walked over to me.

“I know we just met but you are my daughter and I love you sweetie.”

I stood up and said “I love you too.” We embraced into a warm hug and I felt safe.  Not like what I felt with Xavier but like a fathers love and I know that, that is exactly what it is.

Chapter 5: The Woods (Ana)

Xavier P.O.V

I was pacing in the hallway right outside of the living room.  I wish the walls in this house weren’t soundproof.  I thought to myself.

“Xavier?”

I turned around to see me angel looking confused.

“Yeah.”

“I need to ask you something.”  She slowly walked towards me.

“Shure, but first would you like to go for a walk?  You have been cooped up in here for a while I thought you might want to get out.”

“Yeah i’d love to!” she said excitedly.

“Great lets go.”

Ana’s P.O.V

I couldn't wait to go outside!  I don't know what it was but just being in here made me feel claustrophobic.  Even though I was curious about what an “official” mate bond was I didn't want to bring it up just yet.

We walked through seemingly endless hallways until we came to a beautiful kitchen.  Everything was golden colored and smelled like fresh baked bread.  There was an island in the middle of the amazing kitchen and beyond that a wall of windows complete with a sliding glass door.

“wow.” I said breathlessly

“I know come on,” he grabbed my hand sending tingles up my spine “We can walk in the garden.”

“Okay.”

Slowly we made our way through the french sliding doors and out on to the great wooden deck looking over the entire yard.  It was beautiful with a giant in ground pool to the right and separated by a cobblestone pathway an amazing garden to the left.  Then just beyond that and surrounding the entire yard was a forest that seemed to call to me.

At that moment I lost all sense of control and bolted for the forest.  I heard the sound of fabric tearing but didn't stop to see what it was.  I ran through the forest as fast as I could.  The feel of the wind in my fur was AMAZING!

wait....fur?  Immediately I stopped.  That was like the splash of cold water to the face that I needed.

-WHY DID YOU STOP!  THAT WAS AWESOME!  LOOK AT US WERE IN MY NATURAL FORM NOW!  AND I SAY GO!-

my wolf practically yelled in my head before I started running again.  It wasn't me doing the running though.  My wolf had completely taken over now and it was like being in the passenger seat of my life.  I was just along for the ride with  no control.

-STOP- I heard Xaviers voice in my head.  But there was something about it..it seemed more feral and wild not calm and cool tempered like I was used to.

Immediately my wolf stopped looking expectantly around the now dense forest.  Until she laid eyes on the most magnificent, huge, black wolf.  The only thing strange was its deep blue eyes that seemed to draw me in.  My wolf walked closer like she recognised it.

-What are you doing!- i yelled at my wolf.

-Going to our mate duhh.- my wolf said breathily.

-what?- i asked confused.

-Think about it.  You can turn into a wolf.  Our mate can turn into a wolf.  You feel that draw to him?  That would be a mate link.  Once you finish the bond the link will be much stronger.-

-How do you complete the mate bond?-

-Ask him.-

I was suddenly pulled out of my conversation and back into the real world.  Looking into those deep blue eyes that were suddenly inches from mine.  I felt a cool breeze run all along my body and shivered. Wait my body?  I looked down and sure enough there was my very own human body, but something was wrong...I WAS NAKED!

I looked up at Xavier trying to cover myself as much as possible and noticed he was exactly the same...naked i mean.  I looked from his face down to his sculpted eight pack but didnt dare go farther in fear of what I might see.  I quickly looked back at his face which had an arrogant smirk and an amused glint in his eye.

“Like what you see?” he asked arrogantly.

“In your dreams.”  I said back suddenly feeling comfortable.

“Always.”

“What?”

“You always like what you see in my dreams...and much more.”  He said inching closer.  I could feel myself blush furiously at what he said.

“Ahem.” I heard from behind me and looked to see who it was.

“I brought clothes for you but if you'd rather stay naked in the forest with my brother, please, be my guest.”  An unfamiliar boy with dark brown hair chocolate eyes and a face that looked like a slightly younger version of Xavier said with a mischievous glint in his eye.  I looked down at my naked body and suddenly registered where I was, again trying to cover as much as possible.

“Thought so,” he said throwing me a pair of black lace panties with a matching push-up bra and a way to big t-shirt.  “Go change before something...unexpected happens.”

I did as I was told and changed behind a nearby tree but not before I heard a low growl come from Xaviers direction.

Chapter 6: The Woods (Xavier)

Xavier P.O.V

I was going crazy being so close to her.  I did however notice that she was checking me out just as much as I was doing to her.  Her slender curves that would fit perfectly against me.  Oh what I could do to her...No, I had to keep myself in check no matter how much I wanted to just let go and finish the bond.  

A slight breeze brushed by us and her intoxicating smell made all the control I had over my body seem to disappear.  My wolf had taken over and pushed me to the back seat.

-watch and learn romeo-

“Like what you see?” he asked arrogantly.

“In your dreams.”  she said back blushing with a slight smile that made my wolf howl.

“Always.”  he retorted suddenly feeling confidant and doing a little victory dance in our mind.

“What?”

“You always like what you see in my dreams...and much more.”  He said inching closer.  I could see her blush furiously at what he said.

“Ahem.” I heard from behind her and looked to see who it was.  Alex my younger brother only by a year, he was still older than Ana by a month though.

“I brought clothes for you but if you'd rather stay naked in the forest with my brother, please, be my guest.”  He said with a mischievous glint in his eye.  I glared straight at him but couldn't move because my stupid wolf still had control over my body.  He has never taken control of me for this long.  It must be that being around my mate has given him extra motivation.  I thought to myself.

-OUR mate not yours.  If anything she is my mate.-

“Thought so,” he said suddenly snapping me out of my conversation and throwing Ana a pair of black lace panties with a matching push-up bra and one of my favorite shirts.  

“Go change before something...unexpected happens.”  He said shooting me a look that seemed to say back off.  I knew I should but I still had no control of my body.

Ana went behind a big tree and I heard a low growl form in my chest.  I took this as an opportunity to get my own body back while my wolf was busy being pissed at my brother.  

“Welcome back, I’m surprised you let your wolf get the best of you that never happens.”  he said giving me a knowing smile.

“Yeah well unlike you I haven't known my mate for five years already and was unprepared for ,well, any kind of pressure from him.  Damn is he strong!”

“You're the next Alpha of course he is.  It also means he more dominant meaning now that hes had a taste hell want to take over more often.  Don't worry though i’ve learned a few things that might help.”

“You sound like father, i think you might be spending too much time with him.  Oh and just F.Y.I im older than you I know that.”

“Wow, defensive much?  And like you said i've know my mate for five years already so i think I know a bit more about dealing with mates than you do.”  he said in a teasing tone.

“Fine Yoda teach me all you know.”  I said while punching him in the arm and putting on the shorts he brought me.
